BOUCHERON is founded by Frederic Boucheron in 1858. Four generation of the Boucheron family helped the brand become a worldwide leader in the High Jewellery Market. It came to China now and opened the boutique in Bund 18, together with it’s e-commerce website, BOUCHERON continue to do its expanding business through out the world.

JV: We can always find opportunities of brand image delivering and products promo in out of home media, what makes BOUCHERON interested in the airport media?

BOUCHERON: As a world-renowned 150 years of top brands of jewellery and watches, the customers of BOUCHERON is the high-end people consisting of the tip of the pyramid. The high frequency of air travel in this profile makes the airport media perfectly match with the target customers. Therefore, to launch the commercial in a suitable airport is so important as we regard it the effective way of enhance the brand image and products promo. This time we chose FIS lightbox, which has an outstanding coverage of Shanghai Pudong T2 Airport in Check-in hall area. We believe this media will surely deliver our brand image and impress our target customers with strong brand awareness.

JV: What activities has BOUCHERON prepared to celebrate the 150th anniversary?

BOUCHERON: BOUCHERON has prepared a series of activities and new products continuously bringing surprises to the customers. Since the foundation of BOUCHERON in 1858, it has been creating the magic and splendid jewellery all along. To celebrate the special 150th anniversary, we made the network with 12,000 hours hand-made jewellery, showing a collection of BOUCHERON craftsmen of the superb technology and creative essence. At the same time, seven series of high jewellery display a one-year-long exhibition in the world's major fashion capital. Following the stunning appearance in Tokyo, Japan, the showcase will come to Hong Kong in October this year, will surely become the feast of the jewellery industry. During the year, BOUCHERON will also invite a number of international experts in the design field and to create more innovative and exciting articles in memory of such a long and rich history. At the same time there are more surprises waiting for you.

JV: How do you regard the China JewelleryMarket and the future development of BOUCHERON in this Market?

BOUCHERON: BOUCHERON has had a very fast development in China, particularly in Great China region. BOUCHERON entered China in 2005 and opened its first boutique in Bund 18, Shanghai. After a not so long period of three years, the boutique of BOUCHERON has been successfully launched in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Macau, and we are looking forward to the opening of flagship store in Beijing and the second boutique in Hong Kong. At the same time, we have also noted that the Chinese market is developed rapidly, and the cities like Wenzhou, Hangzhou, Dalian, Shenyang are having a certain customer base as well. We are now in research of those cities and hope to find the suitable opportunities.

JV: What’s your expectation toward our media, service and cooperation in the future?

BOUCHERON: The modern image of Shanghai airports are quite in line with our commercial running on the network of Pudong International Airport. JCDecaux is a well-know outdoor media company world-wide with advanced management ideas and efficient team, I believe there will be more opportunities of cooperation in the future.
